Fellow Crosswordians, the rules are very simple. You have 48 hours to complete each crossword with the timer always starting at 00:00. Every puzzle is made up of footballers from either the past or present day. When a word is clicked on by you, the clue for that player will appear at the top of the crossword; these clues will be the players’ career paths shown by a chronological list of clubs that the player has played for. If the name of a club is followed by an asterisks (*), it means the player is still currently playing for that team.

Each correct answer earns you a point, and however many points you have when the timer runs out is your final score. If you compete in one of our leagues, these points go towards your position on the table where you can see your progress after every crossword.

This all started as a passion project fuelled by the lockdown boredom of 2020, it’s come a long way since. I hope you enjoy :)
